Raspers are Necro Minions from Scaldron. As if by pun, they appear exclusively in the "Desert Necropolis" stage.
Lore[]
Raspers are the mutant product of timid filter-feeding avians. Their wings having mutated into nonexistence, raspers breathe a necrotic mist that is connected to their necrotic aura. Anyone who is exposed to the mist have their senses tricked into perceiving the rasper as a much, MUCH bigger creature intending to step on them, causing their fight-or-flight responses to go haywire in favor of flight.
Behaviour, Attacks and Traits[]
- Releases a necrotic breath with each exhale. Heroes that touch the mist are Terrified and run away from the Rasper, as well as taking a small amount of energy damage.
- Immune to disables.

Strategy[]
By themselves, Raspers aren't very dangerous. But when grouped with many other dangerous Darkspore, their terrify can leave you defenseless! As well as being immune to disables, the best way to defeat them is with a Tempest that can take them down before they breathe on the Hero. If you're forced into melee range, attack from behind or the sides, as it is almost useless to attack them head-on unless your Ravager or Sentinel has Terrify Immunity.
Although they can't be disabled, they are still vulnerable to slows, knockback, and rooting.
