Darkspore Operatives are enemies exclusive to the Co-op mode in Darkspore. These enemies will spawn through red-and-black portals on battlefields, come to the nearest player and, once they're in range, lock them in some sort of cage. The locked player is unable to switch heroes, move or attack, making him at mercy of other players, who would decide to help him out by disabling/killing the Operative.
